Why are there two numbers in the data listing for F number and Lens
aperture? Lens aperture (F11/6.92)
Its the numbers in the brackets that I wonder 'what is that information
about?'
Its on a RebelXt. If I'm choosing an aperture is the number NOT in the
brackets the one I have dialled? What information is being relayed with
the Lens or Speed numbers in the brackets?
If I'm using Av priority (aperture) then there will be two entries
F-number and later in the listing a Lens Aperture info.
e.g. with 75-300 lens
Ex bias F1(0.00)
F: 7.1
Lens F/7.1(5.6)
Speed: 1/500(8.97)
Focal: 125m
Or when I used the Shutter priority the listing is:
Ex bias F/1.1(.33)
F number : 10
Lens aperture: F10(6.68)
Speed :1/160 (7.32)
Focal: 170m
or 18-55 lens
Ex bias F/0.9 (-0.33)
Ex 1/200
F 8
Lens Ap: F8(6.00)
Speed 1/200(7.68)
Focal: 18m
