GT 520 1GB DDR3

Hey, I've just purchased this graphics card and I've got GTA4, Battlefield 3 and Portal 2 to play through, I was wondering if I've made a big mistake with this purchase as GTA looks quite bad, or am I missing something completely different?
I've got an Intel Core 2 Quad CPU @ 2.4GHz and 4GB of RAM running on Windows Vista 32-Bit operating system
I'm abit of a novice PC gamer but I'm used to PS3 graphics quality, any help would be appreciated

That GPU is quite weak to play those games you mentioned. If you want good graphics, I would suggest anything above a GTX 560/HD 6850 for smooth gameplay with those games.

The GT520 is even slower than the GT420!

see I think that's my problem, I can't afford to lash out £150 for a graphics card, don't want it to cost me the same as buying a new console just for a graphics card, just wanted to have good gameplay on some of my favs over on pc

That's the downside of gaming for PC, you have to spend money to get smooth gameplay.
