Currently I just bought PSU from newegg for $50, with $25 rebate. I am planning to get mobo+ cpu from microcenter, and case and gpu from newegg (no tax unlike amazon). I sometimes play games but my laptop can't handle some of the graphics so that's why I want to build one. Here's a list of what I have chosen for now:

PSU: CORSAIR Builder Series CX500 V2 500W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS (bought already)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139027

CPU: Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition 3.4GHz ($89)
http://www.microcenter.com/product/325874/Phenom_II_X4_965_Black_Edition_34GHz_Boxed_Processor

Mobo: ASUS M5A97 Socket AM3+ 970 ATX ($50, after the combo deal with cpu)

So after tax that leaves me with $150 for RAM, GPU and case... Maybe a 7750, 4G RAM and a cheap case? Any suggestions are welcome.
