Setting up personal e-mail server using personal domain name?

Hello,
I've recently purchased a domain name from GoDaddy, and I'm having trouble setting up my server, which is running Windows Server 2003, to run email using the domain name. Before purchasing, I was using a free domain from DynDNS and it worked using it as an domain address. I'm wondering if maybe I have to set up the DNS on GoDaddy to foward the email protocol to my server. Thank you.

yes you need to go into the dashboard on godaddy. they should have a guide for it. and pretty straight forward. Are you still using dyndns? or did you get a static ip address? if not does your router support the use of dyndns?
