Upgrade video card in Dell XPS 435t

Hello,
I just purchased a VisionTek 4650 1GB PCIe video card for my Dell XPS 435t. The old video card is shot. Both Dell and Tiger Direct say that the 4650 is a standard upgrade for the 435 but I can't get it to work. The VisionTek doesn't have the 6 pin power connection like the old board and I heard this plug must be connected for the video card to work. Can anyone help?

The plug does not have to be in it for the card to work. If the card does not have a plug, it doesnt need it. There is some other issue you are having.
