Hello guys!!
I have finalized my budget and it is 175$.

As my current PSU (450W) isn't branded i have decided to buy a new PSU of either Corsair or Cooler Master (500/450W). Acc to that PSU i'll buy a new GPU.
Please provide me some good suggestions for both PSU and GPU which meets my budget as well as my desire of playing latest games.

System specs:-
Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 @ 2.93 GHz
Gigabyte G31M-ES2C rev 2.0 Motherboard
3 GB DDR2 RAM
Seagate 660 GB HDD (500+160) SATA

I want to play latest games such as BF3, COD MW, BATMAN AC, GTA 6 and FIFA 13 (To be announced soon).
Resolution should be at least 1400x1050 or 1280x1024.

Please help me out guys
Please Please Please

Thanking you all in ADVANCE.

Here to help!
You're looking at around $80 for the PSU and around 100 for the GPU, sorry, but with that budget, high end games will be fairly unplayable, even on the lowest settings.

So before i give suggestions i'll ask - is there any way to stretch your budget?

Well i won't go for a 80$ PSU as i live in INDIA and here a Corsair Power Supply CX 500 Watt (SMPS) is available for 3000 INR which is approximately equal to 60$ and a Cooler master CM 460 Watt (Power Supply) is available at 2500 INR which is equal to 50$. So i have got around 130-140$ for my GPU (As i can stretch my budget to 190$ MAXX).

Now please help me out...I am dying to play these games :(

How about a hd7770 and a antec 430 earthwatts thats like 180

I used to have a 6850 ( core 900mhz mem 1150) and a pentium dual core e6500 at 3.6ghz but both at stock voltages with the Antec EA430 for about two yeaprs and no issues and remember the 6850 is even more power hungry

Hey buddy i followed the links given by you and what i have found is that the PSU you advised me is a 430W PSU and they say that HD7770 requires a MIN of a 450W powersupply!!

So what do i do now??
What if i buy a 460 watt COOLER MASTER 460W PSU or Corsair Power Supply CX 500 Watt???

Is the excessive power is going to hurt my GRAPHIC CARD in any way???
Please help me out :(

Hey buddy HD7770 asks for a MIN of 450W powersupply and you are telling me to buy a 430W PSU.
Isn't that going to trouble me and my GRAPHIC CARD??

What if i buy a 460W Cooler Master or a Corsair 500W PSU??
Is that excessive power going to hurt my GRAPHIC CARD in any way???

And how about running the games i mentioned???
Is HD7770 a good card??
Will it run BF3 and GTA 6 in a 1400x1050 or 1280x1024 resolution??

Please help me out brother.

Because the 430W PSU is not junk, it can supply sufficient power for a 7770.
If you'd feel better going with a more powerful PSU it will not hurt anything in your system.

here are some BF3 benchmarks with the 7770:

note the resolution and settings these guys test at. I'm sure if you adjust your settings accordingly to your situation, you'll be getting some nice frames.

i know 430 watts is cutting it a little close from your point of view, but if you read the specs on the HD7770 about how many amps on 12V rail it needs you will find out the ANTEC 430W has more than enough

besides some PSU brands (usually cheap ones) advertise Maximum wattage or PEAK wattage load. Good brands usually advertise the Average wattage it can deliver, making peak or maximum alot hogher than this, when AMD or Nvidia say at least a 450W power supply they refer to a maximum load

i know you can buy better I myself have a 620W SeASONIC but YOU asked for best bang for the buck and you have to look for the Cheapest good PSU so you have enough for a good GPU, So the cheapest i know thats not junk is that PSU that can be found for as low as 40dlls and it can deliver enough power for you not to worry

Thanks a lot for your help bro.

At last all i want to ask you guys is that please tell me that which card is better than the other one and will they run on a 450W local PSU??

HD 5770 vs HD 6770
HD 5670 vs HD 6670

And is it ok to run AMD/ATI products with an INTEL processor??
I mean i have heard somewhere that AMD GPU'S work very well with AMD CPU'S and NVIDIA GPU'S work well with INTEL.

If you know any other NVIDIA product which is slightly better than these 4 cards or is equal to these for cards (for less money) then please do tell me about them.

The 5770 and 6770 are basically the same (mostly a rebadge) and are both better than 5670or 6670, though the 7770 will beat all of them.

You can run any combination of amd/intel/nvidia there will be no compatibility problems, just certain games run better with intel/amd cpus or nvidia/amd gpus.

From nvidia probably the only competition to the amd cards you'll be able to find is the 550ti.

Thanks a lot man.
Actually here in my country [INDIA] HD 7770 is available at 200$ on some trusted websites such as FLIPKART.

http://www.flipkart.com/sapphire-amd-ati-hd-7770-1-gb-g...

Which doesn't suits my budget. So i don't think that i'll be able to buy that GPU.
And i forgot to ask you that can i run 5770 and 6770 on a 450W [COOLER MASTER/CORSAIR] PSU???

And which one is better in 5670 or 6670??

Your help and time is really appreciated brother.

if 5770 there is cheaper than a 6770, go for the 5770 because they are basically the same card just the 6770 has the 3D options available but everything else is the SAME

AND AMD cards WORK great with INtel CPUs dont make notice to that :p

The 6670 is a bit faster than the 5670, and it will work with that power supply. It doesn't even require a pci-e power connector, it receives all it's power from the pci-e lane on the mobo.

But I'm not sure how well it will do on the games you want.

looks like it would be decent :)

Thanks a lot buddy!!
Thanks a lot for your help.

You are the best.
Now i'll be definitely buying any of these 4 cards 5770, 6770, 5670 or 6670 keeping 7750 and 7770 as my options (In case rates here goes down).

Thanks a lot brother. :)

At last i just wanted to confirm that all these 6 cards i mentioned here will they work with a 450W (Corsair/Cooler Master) PSU???

And thanks a lot again. :)

Yup, it'll supply enough power for any of those cards.
