G Guest Guest Jan 18, 2013 #3 the only difference is the lack of PCI 3.0 but with any single card not saturating the PCI 2.0 bus, your fine. Upvote 0 Downvote

G Guest Guest Jan 18, 2013 #7 superhex101 : So If I have the 7870 it will be ok with the 3.0? absolutely. PCI 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 are all completely compatible with each other. only some PCI 1.0 motherboards had problems with a PCI 2.1 graphics card but the same card would good in 2.0 and 3.0 Upvote 0 Downvote
