GTX 570 low FPS in Crysis 2

My specs:
Geforce GTX 570
i5 2500K
2x4GB ram
ASUS p8z68 v pro

I started playing crysis 2 and according to sys specs for the game my system sits somwhere between recommended anf highly recommended specs.

However I belive that the game performance is not what it should be. It's only playable at 1200x800 with "Gamer" preset where I get just over 30 FPS. Even at this resolution the game looks great but I belive my system can do more?

Am I right? What can I do to increse the performance.?

I 've rebooted the computer and the performance got better. Now I'm running Crysis 2 maxed out @ 60FPS

Lucky you. I wish I had a Computer like you. I'm still using a crappy Pentium Dual Core e5200

If your getting 60 fps your not running it maxed.I cant even run it maxed at 60 fps with a 3570k and gtx 770
