I currently have a HIS iceq turbo 6950 2gb gpu. Wanting to crossfire, I went looking for a second card to find that this model has been discontinued due to there being an issue with the card. So I have been looking at a very similar card produced by sapphire, would be it possible to use the two cards to crossfire ?

Sapphire card I'm currently looking at :

yes brand crossfire can go though. what will happen is it will activate, and which ever the slower card is memory clock wise, the stronger clock will downclock itself to the slower cards speed.

So what your saying is that the cards will sync their clock ?
