Does anyone see a reason why my monitor would not be coming on

I have everything plugged in correctly I think. I should not have shorted the motherboard because installed it correctly without touching the case. http://postimage.org/image/u7i65nl7j/ This is a picture I just took...Can you tell me if you see anything I have done incorrectly. Help me and I will you.

can you try removing the video card and plugging in the display to the motherboard display outputs? this will check for a dead video card
