Hi , for the same price as the 480 , you can get a MSI 7850 Twin Frozer III . The 480 is a little better , but the 7850 uses alot less power , is alot cooler and is more quite . Here are some benchmarks : http://www.hwcompare.com/12055/geforce-gtx-480-vs-radeon-hd-7850/

BF3 likes a good amount of RAM, I would get a newer generation Nvidia or AMD card that has 2GB or more, plus the GTX 480 is still holding its own in terms of performance but it is becoming outdated and is power hungry
