Sometimes (usually) I need to charge my Nokia 7650 for
several days before I can switch it on - then it seems the batteries are
quite full.
I.E. it seems like:
A: It takes the batteries a very long time to get completely full.
B: The batteries has to be completely full before the phone will switch on .
I once had a car charger, with which it went much faster.
Normally I have a normal charger (I think),
and I try to switch it on both with the charger connected and disconnected.

Hmmm, I think you will find the charging circuitry is built into the
phone, so buying a charger won't help!

I am quite sure it was better with a car-charger I used to have.
