USB 3.0 Motheboard, USB 2.0 Case

I customized a PC on but my motherboard has USB 3.0 for the front panel but my case only has USB 2.0 on the front panel. Is there a way to fix that without getting a new case or motherboard with like an a adapter or something?

You could buy this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812400041 and try to put them in the front panel of the Antec 300.

Antec 300 front panel fix: http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=208880 It shows you how to remove the cover of the front panel to reveal the USB 2.0 and maybe you could put the USB 3.0 in there, I really doubt it but it can work.

i didnt know this until recently but isnt there like a 3.5 usb 3.0 drive that can go in the front and be plugged into the mobo

Yes, as long the motherboard supports USB 3.0 and as a 20 Pin Header, usually color blue.

Yes, your motherboard has a USB 3.0 header, near the RAM modules. It does support USB 3.0

I have been in your spot with USB2 and USB1 ... I called Antec and they sent me 3 USB modules no charge....snbapped old ones out and new ones in for the 3 cases.

have a card reader ? I use this one a lot

look at page 1-26 of motherboard user manual it got a usb 2.0 connector for the optional back bracket so it could connect one usb 2.0 front front panel on it .

Yes, your motherboard has a USB 3.0 header, near the RAM modules. It does support USB 3.0
