I have recently bought a new computer with Intel H61 platform. I installed Windows 7
on it, updated everything etc. I soon as I got everything done, I tryed out my
microphone and sound settings, but there was a problem. There was a buzzing
sound coming from the mic (I was able to fix it with noise reduction) ... I decided to
update the sound driver anyway. But the problem got even worse. The speakers
suddenly got really loud (I set the volume to something around 5%, but they were still
loud). I installed Windows 8 today (I formatted the drive and made a "clen" install),
but the problem is still there: them mic is still buzzing and the sound is way too loud (ok, it is not that loud I have it set on 33% to get normal volume)
(I am 100% sure that there is nothing wrong with my speakers or mic.).

I have already contacted moterboard support, and I got this message from them:
Quote:
If the same issue happen at Win7 and Win8, your motherboard is faulty. Kindly ask to contact directly with your retailer and ask about RMA.

I jst want to be 100% sure that my motherboard is faulty- should I try to update the BIOS or something lika that?

Ok, there is one more thing- I went into another room with my headphones (I was like 3 m away from the PC and there was less buzzing sound)
