Hello,
I'm currently replacing a video wall server for my job. It pumps out to 8 projectors @ 1280x1024 resolution. Right now it has an AGP card with four PCI video cards.

My question is, can I get a board with 3 PCI-E slots, put three 570's in there non-sli and be able to use all the display ports on the video cards? What power supply is recommended for this kind of setup with an i7?

Thanks in advance.

If I am not mistaken Nvidia 5 series cards only support 2 monitors per card. You can get boards with 3 PCIE slots. You could also consider AMDs eyefinity 6 cards which can run 6 monitors per card and come in various models. Nvidias high end 6xx series support 3 monitors per card as far as I know this is there highest.

If you ever do get this set up, do post a picture...
GTX 690's have 3x DVI ports and 1x mini-HDMI. A total of 4 monitors.
So you could use two 690's, assuming your boss will allow you to spend 2 grand.

I'm about to buy an Asus P8Z77 V-Pro/Thunderbolt, and it's got room for three 570's.
(That gives me an idea, what if you could daisy chain 8 displays via Thunderbolt??)

One in the blue, one in the white, and one in the black?
Sure you'd need a large case so the card in the black slot wouldn't press up against the PSU.

EDIT: Nevermind, the black on is a 2.0 x1. The V-Pro/TH will not suffice.
