so, do you guys have any opinions or recommedations?
the system will cost me

same system from xoticpc is 2382 with microsoft office package. note this does not come with diamond compound or the screen calibration. but the main parts are the same

I think you may be spending too much on the i7 and 16 GB's of ram. If you really need that kind of power, wouldn't you just get a desktop?

^Big +1. There's almost no way you need more than 8gb of RAM, and unless you're doing some crazy demanding stuff you can just get a nice $1200 laptop.

Nope, I just wanted to future proof it. I will be gaming on it. I wanted a laptop to fit my lifestyle.
