CPU runs fine on 2 core and BSOD on 3&4 core Tags: CPUs Core Blue Screen iCrazyNoob January 19, 2013 7:38:15 PM Hi, I recently built a rig and it uses i5 3570k and Asus Z77 Pro board, after about 2 month I get almost constant BSOD so I checked all my bios settings and pinned down the problem. WHen the CPU is set on only 2 core enabled it runs nice and stable, as soon as 3rd and 4th core is enabled the comp would get so unstable it cannot even boot into windows. The CPU is watercooled (56C max prime95) and only used Asus TPU so it was not very stressed. is this CPU dead or am I missing some settings elsewhere?
