Hello, I am purchasing a new video card soon, and was set on a 6870 from ASUS, until I found a sale on the 6950 from sapphire, I would prefer getting an ASUS card, as I believe the quality will be higher from them, so I would like to know if there would be a noticeable deference between these two card, and which one would be a better buy. I have a 600 watt corsair power supply, so I should be able to run either.

Sapphire is an AMD partner. A 6950 for $20 more over a 6870 is a no brainer... The 69xxs have a better architecture on top of clocks/streams.

BUT there are 7850s for 10-15 more. Xfx and Msi. not a fan.of either but still

That 6950 sale ends today though so better jump on it if that what u what

I would get a 7850, as I know they overclock very well and have excellent power consumption, but I have around 230$ for a video card and a case, and I've already limited the case's budget very low, and am planning on a nzxt 210, so I really cant go over my budget anymore, as I am already stretching it as it is, and thanks for all the replies so far, I'm leaning toward the 6950, but its power consumption might limit my upgrades in the future

Ok, so I will go with the 6950 and the case you suggested, does sapphire make quality products and have a good warranty?, because I want a video card with these qualities, thanks again
