Completely random question from nowhere. I have a massive amount of excess storage (~2TB, more if I uninstall Ubuntu) spead across several old HDD's. Need something to do with it.

Bit o' context.
My dad was a tech enthusiast throughout his life, and has made sure that he kept a multitude of reasonably up-to-date computers for himself and family to use. This has resulted with an abundance of old HDD's (most of them SATA) scattered around the place. With me being interested in computers, I have gradually began to gather these up, and now I have more storage than I know how to deal with (All 8 of my SATA ports are filled, with all my HDD bays in the case used up).
Just wondering if you guys had any idea of how I could constructively use my excess storage.
Here's a summary of my storage dilemma.

OCZ Vertex 4 128GB: Hold's all the typical SSD stuff, Windows, important programs and games.
~50% full

Modern Seagate Barracuda 1TB: Latest Barracuda model. Using it to hold leftover programs and games, as well as the pagefile and temporary windows folder so my SSD doesn't get thrashed (I am aware there is some division about this optimization).
~1/3 full.

Modern-ish Seagate Barracuda 1TB: This is holding all my media, files and such. Purely for mass storage. Using as a backup drive as well.
~1/3 full

Old 500GB Caviar Green: Currently excess, still has a previous install of Windows and some random old programs/data on it. Trawling through for anything useful before re-formatting.

Old 1TB Seagate: Excess, old install and stuff on it, trawling through for anything useful.

Old 400GB Samsung: Excess, old install and stuff on it, trawling through for anything useful.

Old 250GB Seagate: Currently using this to hold Ubuntu. Just to have some fun.

3 more IDE Hard Drives of various size. Either broken or empty. Planning to pull these apart and have some fun with the platters (thinking lots of sparks will be involved). Maybe sell off the working one.

To make matters worse, because of school I have a 500GB external USB3 drive (though this is useful).

Some idea's I'v come up with.
Sell them off after formatting and running various deletion programs on it.
RAID 0'ing the Caviar Green and the Samsung for no reason whatsoever.
More Linux? But I barely use Ubuntu as it is, getting Mint or something would be pointless.
Keep them in there stealing my electricity and hope they will one day be useful.

So any idea's?

I'd format anything under 1TB, then sell them on ebay/craigslist. Then take the money and buy an upgrade for my current PC
