Define 'editing' and that will determine whether it's overkill to have the i7 or if an i5 would suffice.

Seems good then.

Do you need the H100 if you're only going to 4.0ghz? I wouldv'e thought a fan would be sufficient. Hyper 212 or noctua etc

wanted to go to 4.5ghz but got no idea what temp it would reach

Not clocked a 3770k before but i would've thought fan would do 4ghz and H100 should allow 4.5ghz, have you checked the OC section of the forum?

I think that's the best bet. post your system and see if they can offer suggestions as to clock speeds you could obtain.

Looks like a great computer wish I had that budget. Only 1 questions you list your monitor mouse and keyboard. Did you remember the speakers? you dont have to list them but you may want to get them if you dont have them.
