More about 720p play games ultra
  1. You will be able to use higher settings with a lower resolution on the pc. Such as using 1366x768. If you were to use a higher resolution like 1920x1080p it would either downscale or not change anything.

No quality loss, the icons and other things on your desktop will look bigger.
  2. Soso I dont loose quality.
  3. No, it will just look bigger at that resolution 1366x768.
  4. So itll take up the whole screen correct
  5. Yes, it should take up the whole screen.
  6. Gracias thank I was a little scared
  7. It also depends on the card you are using. 720p is pretty low, but if you want to run games on ultra I would at least suggest a 6770.
  8. Yea I know alot of people are gonna say this is over kill but im making a futyre proof build so im getting a hd 7850.
  9. also depends on the tv. there are quirks with pc-tv connections so you may need to play around to get it to work right.

Get yourself some game controllers and/or wireless keyboard/mouse and have fun
  10. Well its only overkill if you pair the card with some dinky processor. I wouldnt call it overkill.
  11. These are the specs
    Intel i5 3570k
    asrock extreme 3
    Ocz agility 3 60gb ssd
    Seagate 1tb hdd
    Asus hd 7850
    Rosewill hive 750w modular psu
    Cooler master hyper 212 evo
    Some full tower case
    8gb of gskill sniper ddr3 1600 ram
I think its awesome for a long run. Correct me if im wrong.

If you are spending this much for high quality parts, get a 128gb SSD. I suggest crucial m4 128. you are going to use it for stuff.

And why only 1tb hdd, the 2tb or 3tb should not be expensive and you can get the slower speed drives since it is just for data

If you are using it with a TV as part of a media setup, consider getting quiet parts. It will bug you. for the parts you picked

video card i think is quiet
    the 212 evo is quiet.
    psu looks ok

so case is the final piece in your puzzle. don't mess that up
  13. Ehhhhh more than 1tb is expensive if you can post a link to one thats ynder $100 then yea. And the ssd im using as a boot drive.
As for the case im thinking nzxt switch 810 and m not using it as a htpc or anything I have verizon fios for that:)
  14. Looks pretty solid. Make sure to pick a nice quite full tower, or a mid.
  15. Well thank you for all of your guys help! :)
  16. No problem.
