Budget: 1600 max but prefer to keep it 1500 ish

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, broswing the web and watching videos.

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: www.pccasegear.com

Location: sydney, Australia

Parts Preferences: 3570k, 660 ti, ga-z77x-ud3h, and most importantly NZXT Phantom. my friend is very picky and will not settle for any other case.

Overclocking: Maybe

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920 x 1080

Additional Comments: buying a new desktop as he has been using laptops for gaming. should be able to handle bf3 and other games really well so 660 ti seems legit.

Hi there. An idea of what you can build with that budget at PCaseGear:

CPU - Intel 3570K $234.00

CPU Cooler - CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO - $36
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_i...

MOBO - Asrock z77 EXtreme4 - $149
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_i...

RAM - G.Skill Ares F3-1600C9D-8GAO 8GB - $55
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_i...

SSD - Samsung 830 Series 128GB - $110
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_i...

HDD - Seagate Barracuda 1TB ST1000DM003 - $88
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_i...

GPU - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 Overclocked 2GB- $459
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_i...

CASE - NZXT Phantom USB 3.0 Case Black - $169
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_i...

Personally not a huge fan of that case... just think its overpriced and I don't like the whole sci-fi look. But your choice. My prefs are:

Corsair Carbide 400R Black Mid-Tower Case - $118
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_i...

OR

Fractal Design Arc Mid Tower - $119
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_i...

PSU - Antec High Current Gamer 750W - $135 (Plenty of juice for a a 2nd gtx 670 down the track, if you ever decide to go that way)
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_i...

OPTICAL - Samsung SH-222BB SATA DVDRW Drive - $22
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_i...

$1457 (with your mate's exy case)

OS - Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit - $99

lol thats kinda like saying id rather get a corolla instead of a Bentley because they are more common and known by others (might have exaggerated a bit here). the silverstone is a better unit.
