Another Radeon or a new Nvidia?

I am building a new computer and I need a new graphics card. I've got the CPU and motherboard and the other parts down but i need advice on the GPU. I have an HD 5570 and i am getting a Crossfire equipped MOBO. Should i get a new GPU or just get another 5570 because I play a game that runs better on a nividia chip. EDIT: My budget range is $200 to $500 and i am planning on running Railworks 3 on max settings and Star Trek Online on max settings.

More about another radeon nvidia
  1. Is your budget $200-500 for just graphics or for your whole system? What are the specs of the rest of the system?
  2. THe budget is for the GPU alone.

    System specs:
    i5 3570k
    BIOSTAR TZ77B
    Memory: 8 gb
    RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-630SS 630W
    caviar black 500gb
  3. just get the 670 FTW edition if you have $500 to spend on it
  4. Even for $200 you can get a 560ti which will run over twice as fast as 2 5570s. The 5570 was a low power, small card...is that really the model you mean?
  5. or how about this 2 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127663 of these it would be right at $500 but this will last you for atleast 3 or 4 years

seconded, I recently purchased on sale for $400 (usually $420), and it's amazing.

wait $400 for a 670 or $500 for 2 7850 idk i know it will be fast either way but witch is faster?
  8. Id go with a 1 cardcsolution, gives you room for a second one in anot so distant future

Getthe 670, you wont regret it
  9. Yes go for a GTX 670. They are the best bang for your buck right now.

  11. Depending on the resolution of your monitor you might be better off with an HD 7970.With the new driver updates it is as fast as a GTX 670 at 1080p while performing noticably better at 1600p (2560x1600).

Personally if i were you i'd wait for those to become available again and buy one of them.

While it is slower than a GTX 670 both are more than powerfull enough to max the games you want.
