Desktop - PC, exclusively for VIRTUALIZATION and some minor stuff

I am a huge fan of this forum. I have gained some invaluable knowledge from the extremely knowledgeable members here. Today, I am in a need of some advice from the Gurus. Please oblige!

I am in the process of building a Desktop – PC exclusively for VIRTUALIZATION.

The Host – OS would be Windows 7, 64 – Bit

There would be 2 ESXi hosts and multiple VMs (read, at least 10 including a Domain Controller, Active Directory, etc.)

vMotion, FT, etc. should work flawlessly on this configuration.

INTEL is quite costly for the purpose and hence, I am buying AMD.

There is only a 1% chance that I would be playing games on this PC, or may be even less than that.

Emails, Browsing, etc. are some of the basic tasks that I might do on it.

The Mother-Board should have USB 3.0 and a very good sound driver, preferably 7.1 at least.

If it has an HDMI Port, then it would be an added advantage. Should support Full HD.

So, below is the planned configuration so far-

AMD FX – 8350

ASUS M5A97 EVO R 2.0 (?) (Please suggest a board in this series)

SEAGATE Barracuda 7200 rpm HDD

Transcend 4GB X 4 = 16GB (Is CORSAIR better than Transcend?)

CORSAIR comes with a 10-year warranty, while TRANSCEND comes with a 3-year warranty

AMD RADEON 1GB Graphics Card – Model # 5450

I know it’s a basic card, but I am not into Gaming at all. Also, will it be compatible with the motherboard mentioned above?

Cooler Master CMP-350 Cabinet (Does this come with an SMPS? If yes, then what rating?)

Can extra fans be fitted on this cabinet?

Please suggest a suitable SMPS rated at 500 Watts.

Last but not the least, is heating going to be an issue with this configuration? I will be working mainly in a non-air conditioned environment, for 3 to 4 hours a day.

Any help is highly appreciated!!
