Hello. Im new to this but if there is anyone out there who can possibly help I would greatly appreciate it. It seems that any time I have more than 256 mb of ram of any make or speed installed, my computer freezes within anywhere from 5 minutes to 12 hours of up time. The freezes can happen under any circumstance. I know the ram is good and it is not a compatibility problem because the crashes happen with any combination of sticks above 256. For example I have 1 stick of 512 mb pc 133 ram inside that causes freezes by itself without any other ram installed. Likewise the combination of a 256 mb stick and a 64 mb stick cause the same problem... both pc 133. However a 256 mb stick by itself.. the system runs fine!

amd k7 1.0 ghz
Transcend TS-AKT4
VIA KT133 socket A chipset
Elsa Gforce 2 GTS 32 mb
generic sound card and network card
I have upgraded my bios.. messed with the settings.. pulled all my devices.. and nothing helps.
