Help me replacing my old broken sapphire hd 4550 512mb gddr3 card

Anyone please help me,how to uninstall my old broken graphic card [sapphire hd 4550 512mb gddr3] when i boot up with the sapphire hd 4550,the screen goes black and "no input" text,and i'm confused how to uninstall the old card and drivers,and how to install my new powercolor hd 5570 1gb gddr3.



-Windows xp sp3 (x32)
-Intel core 2 duo E7400 @2.80GHz
-2gb ram
-sapphire hd 4550 512mb gddr3 (broken)
-460W PSU

IF YOU ARE USING WIN7:
start>control panel>uninstall all programs>ati drivers and hit uninstall!
If you want just to switch the card...you have to take it apart...open case etc..

is it okay to replace my old graphic card with the new one, when it stil in same manufacturer?

yes it is ! take the old one and put in the new one...and downlaod the newest drivers ofc!
