Hello;

if a 600w psu sticker and manual says that max 12v rail output amps is 48A, then max output for 5v + 3.3v is 180w, then what does wattage on 12v be:

1- 12v x 48a = 576w.
or
2- 600w - 180w = 420w / 12 = 35w.

P.S. The continuous total output power is 600W max for the whole psu.

regards.

Hi - 1. - 12 x 48 = 576w is correct, and that high a percent +12v to
the total overall for the psu is usually indicative of a good quality modern design PSU.
