New PC won't turn on.

I've tried to switch my pc on but nothing shows up on the moniter and nothing moves inside the case. I have tried the steps in the sticky thread but still nothing. The only thing that turns on is the LED light on my motherboard

It is most likely a power supply issue or a motherboard issue. Usually if it is a CPU or memory issue you get some beep codes. Do you have a spare power supply or a buddy you could borrow one from? If not you could take your chances with buying a replacement. That or take it to a local computer shop and have them check it for you. That is my best guess for you if you've already gone through the sticky thread.

Also, you can try to smell the back of the power supply, sometimes it has a burnt electrical odor if something inside fried. I've replaced a few and it has had that smell maybe 50% of the time.
