I am presently having the following config,

Core i5 2500 k
G skill Ripzjaw 2 x 4GB
Intel DH67CL motherboard
Samsung DVD writer
Seagate 1TB HDD
Cooler master extreme plus 500W powersupply

Will HIS ATI Radeon HD6790 be supported by this PSU , because the manufacturers site says that it requires 500W or more PSU.

If anyone has this config ,please help me.

Also please suggest me a good GPU with 1GB GDDR5 256 bit memory and core clock not less than 800 MHz less than $180

My PSU can supply 2 x 18A on +12V rail i.e. 360W in total.
I have only one 6 pin PCIE power connector!

Yes, your PSU should handle that GPU fine.

If you want Nvidia, I would go for this. It has 2GB of VRAM for games like BF3, Skyrim that use a lot of VRAM and it's faster than the 6790 and supports PhysX that AMD cards do not. This particular card will run cooler over reference cards meaning that you can OC it further than reference because of less heat output. It's about $172 (Original price about $182) after rebate and has free 2 day shipping, pretty good deal IMO.

Sorry El tigre,
GTX 560 is over my budget!
BTW I have only one 6 pin PCI-E power connector!
Also wouldn't the HD6790 fry my PSU ? are you sure?

Then what is your budget because you said $180 or less and that GPU is $172 after the $10 rebate?
