Asus Gtx 570 problem with asus gpu tweak

When i change profile to asus gpu tweak on my 570 gtx everything frozes for 4-5 seconds, then the screen flash and i get a message that says Nvidia drivers 301.42 has stopped working.

What is the problem?

What are you trying to do OC the 570? If you don't know how to do that and you are trying if it becomes unstable it will cause your drivers to stop working to protect it's self.

I would learn how to OC your GPU first before trying to change it's profile (Clocks, speeds etc) You could end up buying a new card. I will link you to a few sites so you can learn.

Just remember that what works for someone else may not work the same in your rig. So be very carefull when changing there values. Good luck to you. This should get you started.

dude i know how to overclock my gpu, the only thing i am changing is the speed fan, and this happens.. but thanks for your time anw;p

Sorry I didn't see anything about a fan but I have never look that the asus gpu tweak program either. Maybe you should try MSI Afterburner or Speed fan and TriXX GPU and see if you have any better luck.

Hello again my friend. i actually switch to the 304 beta nvidia drivers and now is working just fine! thanks for the suggestions

Well that is good news. It is funny how sometimes we think something is so hard to fix and it turns out to be a simple thing. You need to pat your self on the back for a good job on fixing it your self.
