AMD A10-5800K

Hey , i am considering a first build and of course i got a doubt about something.Does AMD A10-5800K and 7870 would work together ? I heard A10-5800K won't crossfire anything above 6670.But my question is , can i use A10-5800K as a cpu and 7870 as a cpu.I know my question is kinda noob, but i am just curios.Any comment will be greatly appreciated

u will be bottlenecked with the cpu go with the fx 6300 or 8300 if u can they arent expensive and there perfoamnce is really good
