Building Desktop/

I am trying to build a desktop for myself. I will be using my desktop for mostly playing sims 3 and a couple other games like splinter cell. I will also be using it for watching movies as well. Im looking for parts that can play sims 3 and splinter cell without any problem at all. And can watch blue ray moves/shows without any problem as well. If anyone knows and parts that fit these needs, please let me know. And any other suggestions that anyone has for me would be great too.
