Does Bitfenix Merc alpha support mini itx boards

Ok so I have a mini itx system and was going to upgrade and build an all new system. Idecided to go for the PSU, Graphics card and the case first....
While searching for some cabinets I came accross the "bitfenix Merc Alpha" . The bitfenix merc alpha supports mini itx even if its an atx/micro atx form factor case.( as stated in there website)..
so will it accomodate a mini itx board???
If it does then I am curious that does all mordern atx/micro-atx cabinets support mini itx...?
Could someone clear my confusion..?

Yes. Most (I think all of them) ATX/micro-ATX cases will support mini-ITX motherboards.

Motherboard sizes

Pretty much every ATX case will support mATX and ITX because while the board size changes, the standoffs used are the same.

The 4 screw holes used for ITX match up with holes in an ATX board.
