Crossfire 6850 or 6950?

Well I guess since you have one already CF would be easier, but its gonna eat alot of power. Whats your PSU?

The dual 6850's is the more powerful combination, but I would take the 6950, just so I wouldn't have to deal with a dual card setup.

If you do go with the 6950, make sure its at a good price, otherwise its not worth it over the 7870 which just had a price drop. ;-)

Pop around the benchmarks, see what prices you would be buying at, and start to form your decision.

Well you currently have a more fundamental problem, in that your power supply only has
1x6 pin and 1x6+2 pin power connector. So dual GPU solutions might be hard without some molex adapters.

But yeah I would definitely sell the 6850, save a little, and get the 7870.

Well then I retract my earlier statement. I was thinking about using dual 6950's for some reason. But still, get a 7870  .

I have a friend who's considering doing a build soon so I'll probably just sell him my 6850.

If decides not to do a build I'll just crossfire my 6850... I live in the middle of nowhere/farmland etc.. so selling it on craigslist or whatever in my area will be impossible
