Whats your PSU? m 0 l claysm July 19, 2012 10:11:40 AM http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/302?vs=293 The dual 6850's is the more powerful combination, but I would take the 6950, just so I wouldn't have to deal with a dual card setup. m 0 l Related resources 6850 Crossfire or 6950 1GB - Forum Crossfire 6850, or 6950 unlock to 6970? If you do go with the 6950, make sure its at a good price, otherwise its not worth it over the 7870 which just had a price drop. ;-) Pop around the benchmarks, see what prices you would be buying at, and start to form your decision. m 0 l claysm July 19, 2012 10:28:57 AM Well you currently have a more fundamental problem, in that your power supply only has 1x6 pin and 1x6+2 pin power connector. So dual GPU solutions might be hard without some molex adapters. But yeah I would definitely sell the 6850, save a little, and get the 7870. m 0 l N11Ckk123472 July 19, 2012 10:38:02 AM The graphics card i have is an msi 6850 cyclone edition. Powered with a single 6pin m 0 l N11Ckk123472 July 19, 2012 10:39:42 AM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... m 0 l claysm July 19, 2012 10:41:50 AM Well then I retract my earlier statement. I was thinking about using dual 6950's for some reason. But still, get a 7870 . m 0 l N11Ckk123472 July 19, 2012 10:49:29 AM K I'll look into it I have a friend who's considering doing a build soon so I'll probably just sell him my 6850. If decides not to do a build I'll just crossfire my 6850... I live in the middle of nowhere/farmland etc.. so selling it on craigslist or whatever in my area will be impossible m 0 l claysm July 19, 2012 10:56:12 AM If it comes to it, you could try selling your card here on the forums. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/forum-8.html m 0 l Can't find your answer ?
