Opinion/Recommendation: What is a solid Dual Band Wireless Router?

Hi all, I live in NYC and am looking at setting up a new wireless network in my apartment. After determining that the level of 2.4Ghz interference that exists with being in close proximity to literally hundreds of other residences/businesses is crazy, I have decided that I would like to try out a dual band setup. The reason for dual band is that I have other internet users living with me who are not currently capable of operating at 5Ghz.

At the moment I've had my eye on the Linksys E3000 with its simultaneous (not selectable) dual bands, but I have heard some horror stories about heat issues and D.O.A's.

So, in your opinions/recommendations what would be a good consumer level Dual Band Wireless router setup?
