Hey everyone I'm new to the entire computer building and my friend told me to install Prim95 just to see if everything is OK with my CPU. Well I did and when I went to use the stress test it got up to 65 Degrees C. Is this OK for the i5-2500k? Thank you for your imput.

Also I'm useing the Tt Spin-Q blue CPu cooler don't know if thats the problem if 65C is bad....

  2. The 65°C on the Intel® Core™ i5-2500K is fine. I wouldnt be concerned until I was seeing temperatures around the mid 70°C. Stress test like Prime95 will always give you the highest temperatures that you are likely to see with this CPU.
  3. Cool thank you very much for your input, now I'm not worried lol .......
