I am looking to do my first build. I currently have a laptop that i game on. core 2 duo 2.0ghz. 3gb ram, 8600gs m video card.
I want to be able to play GW2 and PS2 at decent frames with highish settings.
I can currently play GW2 on low at about 15 fps. Nearly unplayable.

My budget is tight. But here is my build after a few hours of playing around. Is it a good build? I am open to any suggestions.
Thanks!

Better CPU (WAY better) which is the main thing. For most MMO's the Ivy's wipe the floor with the AMD chips. It's sad that AMD just has fallen so far back processor wise.

It's an okay build so far. You're DEFINITELY going to want to switch out that CPU to an Intel i3 in that price range though. The Intel Sandy/Ivy Bridge architectures, even on i3's, are MUCH faster than any AMD processor for gaming.

Also, unless you plan on going SLI/Crossfire (2+ graphics cards), that 700w PSU will be unnecessary, get a good 500w.

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115078
This is better than the AMD one you posted for gaming.

PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139027&Tpk=corsair%20builder%20500
All you will need with only one graphics card.

Note that you will also need to change your motherboard to accommodate a 1155 Intel processor (i3/i5).
