Hi all,

I am getting an AMD Phenom II X6 1045t. It is going to be on an MSI 970A-G46 Motherboard with 4Gb RAM (if that makes a difference) and a ATI Radeon HD 4650 1GB graphics card. I will be using this for some gaming. My question is should I overclock this CPU if yes what is the limit that I should OC to?

NOTE: I will only be using the CPU fan that comes with it. My Case does have another fan on it.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I agree with Brett, i mean u can, but its just not intelligent, maybe 3.0ghz from 2.7. but again u may not get it, nor should u rlly attempt. Invest in a cooler master hyper 212 which is $25-35

Thank you kindly for the advice it is greatly appreciated. I will avoid Overclocking until I get a better fan.
