Windows 7 64-bit ie 8 download

I recently bought a new laptop, and it came with IE9. So far, I can't stand IE9...especially the "new tab" features. How do I uninstall IE9 and install IE8? I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.

I've been hearing Firefox has kinda gone down hill recently but what do I know.Firefox works quite well, but everyone has their preference. Since switching several months ago from IE8, have not seen the good old "Do you want to send a report? " ! !
