As I was trying to get a game to start, I was messing with the settings on the Catalyst Control center, I have the Radeon 5570 HD. I have uninstalled catalyst control center completely, and I've taken out my gfx card yet whenever I plug it into the VGA port on my computer it's fine, but when I plug it into the gfx kard, it goes to sleep. When I take out my gfx kard, it works fine. But if my kard is in but the VGA is into the computer itself, it still goes to sleep.

you put the graphics card in your pc but plugged your vga monitor cable into the motherboard vga connector? if you have done this, it will not work, you need to plug your monitor into the graphics card

It usually is. But now it doesnt work because of me messing with the settings >__< Now it only works when it's plugged into my computer and not my Gfx. I've also tried restoring to default settings on catalyst control center, no luck.

plug out your computer for 5 minutes
then pull out the card, insert it carefully and properly. plug in the cord then try again.
