Looking for a sound card for my new Turtle Beach XP 400 Headset.

So I have an MSI z77A-GD55 mobo with onboard realtek sound. This headset (turtle beach xp 400) was originally designed for xbox 360 and PS3, but I had read that it works well on PC as well. The issue that I'm having is that the only inputs for the wireless transmitter are analog in and an optical in. My mobo has a built in optical out for the onboard realtek, but I am not able to select anything but 2 channel output.

There is a light on the headset transmitter that indicates if it is receiving a dolby digital signal. So far, I have only been able to get this to light up in certain AC3 videos that are designed to test surround sound. I'd like to get a sound card that essentially transmits everything to this dolby signal, because from what I understand, there is a better sound quality to be had this way.

I'm looking for a recommendation for a decent sound card that isn't going to break the bank to support this.

This is a great sound card, and should do the job for your turtle beaches. It works with my xp500s very well
