Can we say overkill

99% of games won't use more than 4 cores and 95% won't use hyperthreading you better off saving you money and getting an i5 3570K and going with a z77 MB

the 850w PSU is also over kill a 500w will run 1 GTX 670 and 750w will run 2 in SLI you might do 3 in SLI on 850W but it might be pushing it.

8GB of ram is plenty for gaming, but ram is relativly cheap right now, so 16Gb isn't a bad choice.

Recommend a Samsung 830 256GB SSD drive - much faster.

Extreme overkill. An i3 on a modest LGA1155 board, with a single GTX670 will have no trouble maxing WoW.
While I agree that the Samsung SSD is likely to be faster, the difference won't be significant (i.e. compared to the difference between a SSD and a mechanical HDD). The reason I'd choose Samsung is because it isn't a Sandfarce drive, and I remain unconvinced of the reliability of Sandfarce.

Thanks to both of you for the rapid replies. I'm taking your advice and getting a Samsung and stepping down the CPU. I've been professionally involved with computers (mostly design and programming) for 30 years, but it's my first PC build and I really respect you guys for giving advice here. Thanks for the experts look!
