The usual remedy is to re-install the application (in the same location) and
then uninstall it. Remember to clear out your TEMP folders beforehand. If
that fails, you'll either have to restore the system to a time prior to the
installation (which also involves re-installing everything done since that
date), or manually remove the application. To manually remove an
application, first create a restore point. Then try and locate the program's
installation log file which should list all the files and registry entries
that were added or changed during installation. If there is no log, you must
locate the files and registry entries manually. Finding the main files and
folders shouldn't be too difficult, and the registry entries can be deleted
with any decent registry cleaner. That will just leave shared files in the
system folders but if they're not being used they shouldn't cause any
problems, and you can always spend some time manually inspecting their
properties to see if they belong to the rogue program or not.
