What do you guy's think? This build is for gaming. I will be playing arma 3 when it comes out, crysis 2, crysis 3, Bf3, and other taxing games.

Any advise would be great because like i said this will be my first build. I also might be doing some minor overclocking. I just want to know if this will work together for power and cooling. If there is a way to lower cost feel free to speak up on it. thanks!

You don't need that motherboard take a look at the asrock Z77 extreme 4 or the Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H both will work good for your build and save you $90.

Id get the low profile version of that ram or maybe a LP G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 41$ for same thing.

PSU isnt the best take a look at corsair or xfx or seasonic or antec. (make sure to check professional reviews on them)

I like the asus or gigabyte version of the gtx 670 better but if the free gift is something you really want that card should work fine for you also.

Thats a big case for what you are getting plenty of cheaper mid sized cases that would work good for you take a look at fractal design or cooler master or corsair.

Thanks for the input and i switched the PSU to the corsair cx 750 but i was curious if the bios and other features on that asrock mobo are as good as they are with asus boards

I want to stick with a full tower case for cooling, and for a second gpu in the future. but i did look on amazon and found a full case for way cheaper.

I also went with the asus gtx 670 directCU top. good card. but let me know about the mobo's.

The case is fine. A good case will last for years. I'd get a TX 650, better quality and you don't need 750, an Asus Z77 V PRO, a Gigabyte Windforce 7950 and a 1TB HDD. Games are fat in 2012.

sounds good but i heard bad stuff about AMD drivers. If you know different let me know

What defines mid tower and full tower? What one manufacture calls a mid tower is another manufactures full tower. The 500R is huge, but it's not the only so called mid tower that's as large as some other manufactures so called full towers.

20.5” x 8.1” x 20” <---- those are the dimensions of that Corsair 500R. Built in multi channel fan controller, 200mm side fan, LED on/off switch, dust filters, etc...

I've had no problems with AMD drivers and I've had AMD GPU's for the past four years. Only time the driver crashed is when I didn't give enough voltage to my OC'd 7950, so it was my fault. Not to mention, AMD is only releasing new drivers as required, not monthly anymore.
