  1. ... I would honestly just scrap everything. Nothing there holds much value but the RAM, but there are better modules. Can you tell me your budget? I'll give you a good list of components you could afford.
  2. My budget is £200 / $315
  3. I see. Well, the motherboard is still good (kinda) - you could put in an FX CPU, like the FX-6300, replace the video card for a 7770, right there that's about 300$. Use the 50$ to buy a better PSU!
  4. Saphire Radeon 7770?
  5. Hi, yes. Check this page for the CPUs your mobo can support http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4305#

The CPU you've found is fine, as long as your BIOs is upto date. If you can stretch your budget abit more, go for a Radeon 7850.
  6. Thanks for all your help guys so if I buy the 7850 and install it will it be compatible now?
  7. Hi, not with your 350W PSU. AMD recommend a 500W or greater PSU which has a 6-pin PCI Express power connector for the Graphic card. Even the Radeon 7750 requires a 400W PSU minimum. I would get a good PSU and Graphic card, save up the extra cash for a better CPU down the line.
