Cutting it to close 400/450w?

Antec neoeco 450w ps I have a new fx-8120 on the way and themalite ps calc says 400w ps supply with overclock to 3800, so I have the oc cushion if need be but still concerned I'm cutting it to close??

Hi - what gpu(the biggest power draw on +12v rail) do you have?
That will determine if you are cutting it too close or not.

no oc I don't game at all.. dual monitor though 22" and 19"

You are fine - no need to upgrade. realhardtech suggests 350w.
You have plenty of headroom.

Thanks for the opinion I'm running a 955be @ 3.6 so a 8120 @ 3.8 should be close to a wash on the psu..

Got the cpu off amz from a jpn seller so I've go like another week or so wait, and it's like a really loonggg.. xmas morning. It's at the airport in japan though :-)

You still got plenty of power to spare, the 350w amount is
for whole system, OC doesn't add many watts.
