What's the difference in performance and value between the Soundblaster 512 and the Soundblaster Live Value sound cards?
I currently have the 512 with an asus a7m and a 1.33 GHz AMD

I'm not sure. I wouldn't think there is much of a difference. They both use the same chip! The only difference is probably the bundled software.

Also, I don't think the PCI512 supports Digital speakers.

I agree. The only difference is software and live value supports Live drive.
