The 7850 over clocks pretty nice. There's a killer deal on a Sapphire factory over clocked 7850 @ superbiiz.com for $210 with a $10 rebate.

    Hey CA brother!

You could sign up for a free trial of shoprunner on Newegg when you checkout, just remember to cancel the trial membership on time.

Or...since you live in CA, you could order from Amazon (sign up for free trial w/ Amazon prime; make a new Amazon account if you've already used prime and has expired) instead of newegg so they don't charge you for taxes *wink* since taxes alone is around $150 depending on the system your building. You could definitely save that money or use it on something nice! (It's still free 2-day shipping, which is awesome!)
  7. my friend would like to if he bought a z77 mobo and just got the i5 3450 would there be any problems with upgrading in the future to an i7 processor
  8. haha funny because i've thought of doing this. i'm going to be using amazon and newegg for my main shopping sites and trying to see anything that i put on newegg is cheaper on amazon so i can pinch a couple dollars. thanks for the input

Another poster on here mentioned that the tax break with Amazon is going to end for Cali next week. Superbiiz has that 7850 for $200 but they are located in Cali so no tax break there. Now if you want to lower the cost of that build I posted even more then look at this cpu. It's an Ivy Bridge dual core w/hyper threading.

Now, the custom parts are listed from newegg here are the links
you want the fan controller for 5 more fans, the 4 included in one price, and add the rear to like the mobo, and you can add another fan to the CPU heat sink if you want but you want a decent fan though, has to be 120mm.
    FANS: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103052
    FAN CONTROLLER : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811992005
THERMAL COMPOUND ( never use the one they give you as in CPU use this one )
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835100007
ANTI STATIC BRACELET ( need this to ground your self so you do not fry any componets )
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16899261005
SURGE PROTECTOR http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812107131 ( only if you need it )
now one think i forgot to do, is check or google this ( without the symbol please , Asrock Z77 Extreme4 Motherboard )and once you get to the site, chose memory, now on another tab find the memory in the link at top, copy and paste the product uh code like this 160012080120965372
looks somthing like that, sorry for not doing that right away late at night and about to fall out of my chair lol. hope this works, would love inputs from other users incase i missed/did somthing wrong. anyway night!
