I'm not human, I can see beyond 300 fps in fact. However, I aim for 128 (because cl_cmdrate 128 is optimal for net settings)
the problem isnt on the human side, its the monitor side. 2 major factors in fps is screen refresh rate and gpu. even if the computer displays 100 fps, on a 60hz monitor, it will only display 60 fps because the screen literally can only refresh 60 times. No human eye speed can change the screens refresh rate.
basically:
Gpu(and a bit of cpu): Decides how many pictures it takes
Monitor refresh rate: Takes intervals of those screenshots and display them, if its more than the screen refresh rate, then it skips some of the screenshots, if its less, it repeats frames. You cannot get by that fact.
