Hi guys i have a desire to upgrade to three monitors from two but my current card (Gtx 560ti) only supports two, i have an idea to use one of the lower end 600 series cards to run the extra two monitors and use the main monitor with the current card. Is this possible? I do have a motherboard that supports a second card and a power supply powerful enough but can i run these two different cards in one machine? Please note i am not trying to run these two cards in SLI i know thats not possible.

The monitors i will be using are http://www.ebuyer.com/257798-acer-v223hqvb-21-5-lcd-vga-monitor-et-wv3he-017 x2 already owned.

And http://www.ebuyer.com/337074-24in-lcd-1920x1080-16-9-2ms-g245hcbid-f-hd-dvi-vga-in-et-fg5he-c01 If anyone has a better suggestion then this one im open to it.

Thanks in advance sorry for the wall of text. :)

That would do the trick. Plug in the new video card and boot up and you should be set. You might have to play with the settings a bit to get them all aligned properly, but it works. I'd personally do a fresh install of the drivers just to be sure, but even if you don't you shouldn't have any issues.

Hi do you think a GT630 would be sufficient for the two other cards they will just be displaying movies and net. Also would there be any conflicting driver issues with the two cards drivers?

Thanks very much been a great help :D

That seems like a good card for what you want it for. Both cards being nVidia you won't run into a problem as they all use a unified driver these days.

Hi there, I know I'm a year late on this thread... but have you managed to make this work with 2 x GT630 ? I just did that last night and the second card is being disabled by Windows7 ? error 43...
